The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution – 30ml

The AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution exfoliates multiple layers of skin for a brighter, more even appearance. It uses alpha-hydroxy acids (AHA), beta-hydroxy acids (BHA), and a special Tasmanian pepperberry derivative to reduce irritation often caused by acids. This at-home peel helps improve skin texture, clear pores, and even out pigmentation. It also includes hyaluronic acid for comfort, pro-vitamin B5 for hydration, and black carrot for added protection.

Note: This formula has a very high concentration of acids. We recommend it only for experienced users of acid exfoliation who do not have sensitive skin.

The pH of this formula is about 3.6. Glycolic Acid, the main AHA in the formula, has a pKa of 3.6, which is crucial when formulating with acids. When the pKa is close to the pH, there is an ideal balance between salt and acidity, making the acid more effective and less irritating to the skin.
